Insurance
Once we have arranged your mortgage application, our thoughts will turn to the all important matter of insuring your life, health, income, buildings and contents. You have just acquired one of the biggest assets and liabilities you are likely to in your lifetime, so it would be sensible to insure it.
About a week after applying for your mortgage or re-mortgage, you will be contacted by someone from our insurance department. They can organise a mutually convenient appointment to assess and advise on your new insurance needs. These are likely to include:
- Life Assurance to repay your mortgage in the event of your death
- Critical Illness Cover to repay your mortgage in the event of you suffering a serious illness
- Mortgage and Income protection, which can maintain your mortgage payments in the event of you being unable to work through sickness, disability or redundancy
- Buildings Insurance to protect your brick and mortar against damage
- Contents Insurance to provide for replacement or repair of your possessions in the event of accident, fire or theft
We work with a panel of well known insurers and will advise you on the most suitable levels of cover to suit your needs.
