Brooks Associates was formed in 1999 by Kevin Brooks, and started as a small home based Mortgage Brokers. Prior to this Kevin had had a long and successful history in both the Financial Services and Mortgage industries, dating back to 1988. However, he saw an opening in the market in 1999 for good honest all round mortgage advice, at reasonable prices.

In September 2000 our current Mortgage Administration Manager, Howard James, joined, from a well respected local Accountancy firm, where he held the position of Office Manager. Prior to this Howard had a long and industrious career with several large Accountancy firms.

Louise Edwards joined as Personal Assistant to Kevin Brooks, in February 2004, after selling her own successful small business. Prior to this Louise had spent 20 years with the Woolwich Building Society, covering every aspect in the financial services and mortgage markets. Her final position was running a large sales team, and taking responsibility for all their compliance issues.

Our second mortgage advisor joined in April 2005. He is Colin Prangley, whose previous career, was in the retail sector, with a large Supermarket chain. There he worked his way up to Department Manager, before deciding that his future lay in the financial services market.

All your mortgage insurance needs can be met by our qualified Insurance Consultant, John Evans, who is the newest member of our team. John has many years experience in this aspect of the industry, having worked for both National Companies such as Pearl, and smaller independant advisors.
